Beware of their sales
I have previously purchased shirts from Hawes & Curtis. Their problem however is that they frequently hold 'sales' but then sell out of items and so are unable to fulfil the order. They will say that demand is such that it sells out, of course, but funny thing is a stock level is stated and decreases as the time goes by, other online shirt retailers like the far superior Claudio Luigi operate sales yet somehow manage to ensure stock exsits when they take your payment, totally unlike Hawes & Curtis. Of course they suggest you can order something else, but at full price. Its sharp practice, there is no other way of putting it. On the last occasion that this has happened they confirmed the order, yet again took payment, then a WEEK later said one shirt was out of stock, then a WEEK after that advised the whole order was out of stock and so the order was cancelled. Why don't they know immediately the order can't be fulfilled. The customer services are so poor. Luke from their customer services gave plenty of rheteroic to start then simply refunded payment, after they had held the funds for sometime. I won't shop with Hawes & Curtis again as a result of the latest debacle, and I would warn anyone don't count on them fulfilling orders, and non existent customer service is also pretty much guaranteed. I like their shirts in fairness, and I have plenty of them that last well, but they've finally worn me down with their poor online ordering and unethical way of promoting themselves. If they know it is a problem, and others manage not to constantly disappoint their customers why don't they do anything about it rather than rely on the sorry 'its tough, unprecedented demand at sale time' as their only mitigation. I won't go back and warn others to be ready to be disappointed.

easy to use- straight forward layouts and good prices

Bought quite a number of shirts and I’ve been generally satisfied with the service and the quality of the shirts. I only had one issue with a white shirt I got. I didn’t open it up immediately I received it, and when I did after a month or so I realized It had a tiny stain in the sleeve. It’s a lovely shirt but I can’t wear it to anywhere important.

I have been shopping with Hawes and Curtis for a long tine and they never fail to deliver. Excellent service every time.

Everything went very well......and I was delighted that the goods ended up being delivered to my local post office - very convenient for me as I can then choose my own time to pick them up. Delivering to a post office / post in shop is the best method to use in Norway (B to C)....as then one doesn't have to wait at home for a courier to turn up. Well done......your logistics people have done their homework ( + OCS / New Zealand Post). I also had contact with someone called Thomas at your Customer Service department who offered great service.

I bought two shirts and they are absolutely beautiful - excellent quality! Would have been 5 stars but I found it difficult to work out how to get the free postage for an exchange.
